March 27, 2019

I am so happy Macey of Sweet Pine Designs business feature  is here!!

I have bought signs from Macey, and have plans to continue to buy from Macey. I LOVE her work. She takes great care in her work and always delivers a good product. So without further ado, lets Learn more about Sweet Pine Designs.

1. Can you provide me with a description of your business?

Sweet Pine Designs by Macey Pachek creates customizable wood signs and furniture.

2. How long have you been in business?

I started making wood signs about 6 years ago for my wedding, but officially opened shop January, 2018.

3. What have you previously done and how does this business differ?

I worked as a massage therapist at a spa in Fort Collins before I married my husband. Once we got married, and I moved to Wiggins, I provided child care. Sweet Pine has allowed me to have a creative outlet that I did not have before.

4. How did you get started in this business?

While I was planning my wedding, I had so much fun making all of the decorations. After that, I started making signs for a few friends. When more orders started coming in, I opened my Facebook page and quickly realized that making signs was no longer just a hobby.

5. What’s one thing you wish people knew about Small business owners?

One thing that I wish people knew about small business owners is, we put everything we’ve got into making every single creation perfect. None of this would be possible without my customers. I truly appreciate them.

6.Where do you see your business in the next year? In the next five years?

In the next year as I am expanding my shop and the tools available to me, I hope to better my skills as a wood worker. 5-10 years down the road, I hope to expand my client base even further.

7. Whom do you seek advice from for your business? Or who inspires you?

For any and all wood working advice, my go to guy, is always my husband, John. He worked for a local wood shop for years making custom cabinets, tables and restoring old furniture. He inspires me to produce a qualified craftsmanship that I am proud to call my own.

8. What’s unique about your business?

One thing that is unique about my business, is every single order is created by me, start to finish. This also makes every single item produced unique in itself. No two signs are ever exactly the same.

9. What is the biggest blessing of running your own business?

The biggest blessing that has come from running my own business, is being able to stay home with my 3 kiddos, Payton (4), Cason (2) and Avery (9months).

11. Favorite color?

I do not have a single favorite color but more of a favorite color scheme that includes creams, tans and browns.

12. Favorite snack/dessert?

Oh man my sister in-law makes these banana bars with cream cheese frosting that are to die for!

13. And how would you describe your personality?

I would describe myself as a wife, mother, creator. I am a little quiet and maybe even a little awkward 😊

Ya'll I cannot recommend Macey enough. She made me this beautiful sign for my business, she has always been very kind. I love the quality of her work.
