Rhett Newborn Session in Snyder Colorado

September 4, 2018

Welcome Mr. Rhett! Oh mister, you were worth everything.

During Rhetts newborn session Emily and I chatted about pregnancy  and  how they were excited to meet their little surprise (they didn't find out the gender), but when labor came it, like a lot in life, it didn't go quite as planned. She had been told later that it was one of the worst Morgan County had had in a while. All the while, Im holding her sweet boy who is a month old at this time, and just amazed at how such a rocky and scary  entrance into this world and yet God created him to perfection.

Look at these toes. All 10 so perfectly created.

Fred, Rhett's daddy, was building their home during his newborn session, and I love that we were able to capture Rhett within the walls of his home that his parents built.

When I posted a sneak peek to this session I paired this picture with this verse: " For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything." Hebrews 3:4

All the hardship of labor and post partem care and yet Emily still loves her son. Somehow God made it so that we, as mamas, would have such a strong bond with our babies, and I love that.
