It's not just photography...its a memory. It's going back in time and feeling their little hands in yours, listening to their soft noises as they sleep. Remembering them curl their hair within their fingers as they would sit with you, still for just a moment. Feeling their soft warm breath upon your cheek and ear as they whispered their secrets.

Being able to look back through an album and see those memories, perfectly captured...there is no feeling that compares.

My experience is simple, but ultimately it creates timeless portraits that can be treasured for years.

The Experience

Step 1: Contact me

Once you have taken a peek at my work (click portfolio to see more),  send me an email through my contact form and let me know what type of session you are interested in (Maternity, Newborn, or Family). I'll respond back by email with more information (this will include some basic pricing) and to set up a free consultation. (Why a consultation? This is a good chance for you to meet me, see samples of my wardrobe, and envision the perfect products for your portraits).

Step 2: Plan your session

This is such a fun step, I love to hear about all the special moments you want to capture for your family, pregnancy or with your new addition. We can choose and try on wardrobe pieces (almost all my gowns are flattering for mamas, but sometimes trying on gowns and finding the perfect match can just make your session plans feel perfect), go over ideas for locations, and look at a few design ideas for displaying your session portraits. Ready to move forward and book your session?

Step 3: Book your session

Lets get your session date on the calendar. My dates are limited and fill up quickly, so its always a good idea to plan ahead. We will choose the best date for your session needs, and then collect the retainer/session fee. From here all my clients (which you officially are once you book! YAY!) receive a gift and more information on how to prepare for your session and a few tips and tricks.

Step 4: Your session

This is where your portraits take shape. Your family looks absolutely perfect, and we can begin capturing these memories. We play games, and just enjoy the time together, while I capture your moments.

Step 5: Editing

This process takes between 2-3 weeks. I cull and hand edit your session portraits and then prepare samples of the products you expressed an interest in.

Step 6: Design appointment

Yay! Today is the day, you get to relive all those sweet and fun moments from your session by seeing your portraits. You take a look at the sample of products and we make the order for your wall art.

Step 7: Product Delivery

Your product is here and ready for delivery, some product can take up to a month to have made, but I assure you it is well worth the wait. I have chosen my product for its amazing quality.

Other Tidbits

Client wardrobe available

I have options for mom, dad, and your little ones. I offer a variety of styles and sizes, and can create a wardrobe that perfectly compliments your family. Everything on my website is from my client wardrobe. I do not provide mens pants (the sizing is just too vast)

Hair and Makeup available

Hair and makeup is an additional charge of $200 (paid directly to the stylist).

Digitals are available

I  come to your home for the design appointment after the session to show you album, wall art options, and more, but if you prefer to just have the digitals, that is available.

Motherhood Membership provides a discount

I offer a membership that includes more than one session and ultimately is the most cost effective method.

Mini Sessions available twice yearly

While I don't offer them often I plan to offer a Christmas and Motherhood mini sessions yearly.

Portrait turn around time is 2-3 weeks

Normally we set up your design appointment 2-3 weeks after your session. This allows me plenty of time to back up your session portraits, edit, and design your product art.
